February 27, 2011

Women Called Moses Coalition & Outreach, Inc. is pleased to announce its most recent sponsor HopeLine® from Verizon. Below you will find hyperlinks to WCM’s most recent press releases and news clips featuring our grassroots domestic violence advocacy agency in Dallas, TX. Our agency has been featured in the Dallas/Houston news media market highlighting the critical need for increased funding and additional facilities in our region for domestic violence victims. We have also been featured in the nationally published, ESSSENCE Magazine regarding our work in Dallas.

Women Called Moses is in extraordinary need of assistance to help domestic violence victims and their children. We often serve a historically underrepresented and underreported population of minority domestic violence victims (African-Americans/Hispanics). While federal grants and donations are given to large domestic violence agencies in the area, WCM is oftentimes dealt the role of being the more hands-on agency handling the overflow when the larger agencies are at capacity and stop picking up the telephone. However, we do not even come close to having the resources to assist our clients in the multiple ways they need to be helped.

Please join us! With your help, we can really save lives! Please call: (214) 497-2422 or visit our website at: www.womencalledmoses.org to get more information or make a tax-deductible, charitable contribution.
