Gina Grant is a wife and devoted mother of four. S seasoned entrepreneur, Mrs. Grant launched her first business, The Grant Agency, a Public Relations firm at the age of twenty-five.

As a former publicist, Ms. Grant knows all to well the challenges of building and creating postive media. A leader in her industry, she has represented top athletes, entertainers and corporate executives, all while being a wife and mother.

Her second venture, Women That Soar, a media and content development company, provides a platform to honor women for overcoming and triumphing to success! It is a platform for women to share their stories, connect and attend events the empower and inspire them on their professional and personal journey.

Ms. Grant’s passion for WTS's growth surpasses anything she has ever been involved with. Her ultimate goal for WTS is to be a catalyst for change and accelerating progress towards postive media content.

Ms. Grant feels WTS is the fulfillment of her journey. She realizes the need is great for inspiring content and events. Via WTS, she now has a company and a platform that will do just that. It is one- stop shopping for online, events, broadcast media and community outreach. WTS is growing and setting a standard for new, uplifting and inspiring media in the 21st century among media companies.

CARLA BEAN

Dallas County District Attorney

Carla Bean has been an Assistant District Attorney at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office for over 10 years and currently serves as Chief Prosecutor and supervisor in the Protective Orders Division. During her tenure, she has prosecuted a variety of cases, including CPS termination, child abuse, and family violence cases. Carla is a regular trainer for the Texas District and County Attorney’s Association, the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, and the Family Violence Regional Training Program at the Dallas District Attorney’s Office. She has trained various professionals such as judges, attorneys, medical personnel, law enforcement officers, ministers, and individuals within the faith community. Additionally, she has served as a panelist on several domestic violence faith–based forums such as “Let’s Talk” with the Potters House Church, “New Beginnings Family Outreach Domestic Violence Training Seminar,” with Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church, and “Submission Doesn’t Mean Pain “with the Community Outreach program of the Family Place. Carla’s training, experience, and skills have equipped her for educating and enlightening both the secular and faith communities on domestic violence issues. Her unwavering commitment fuels her passion for effecting demonstrative change in the lives, souls, and spirits of domestic violence victims and perpetrators.

Judge Cheryl Williams

Judge Cheryl Williams is very passionate about juveniles and the issues affecting juveniles and women.

Cheryl Williams earned her doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of Missouri School of Law located in Columbia, Missouri. She received her bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University, with a major in political science and a minor in Spanish. She was appointed to serve as a municipal judge in 1999. She also serves as a magistrate for the five counties within the City of Dallas boundaries, issuing arrest and search warrants for law enforcement personnel from over 30 different jurisdictions for criminal offenses. Judge Williams presides over the South Dallas Community Court and over all municipal court juvenile matters. While presiding over all juvenile cases, Judge Williams oversaw the City of Dallas Teen Court program – a peer court; with teen volunteers from the area high schools participating as Judge, Prosecutor, Defense Attorney, Jurors and bailiff. She is very passionate about issues affecting juveniles. She is a speaker to bar associations, schools, social and religious groups throughout the metropolitan area of Dallas/Fort Worth.

Judge Williams is active in numerous civic organizations and social activities that include: Former member, Board of Directors for Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas (past Chair, 2004); life member of NAACP; Chair, Mustang District, Boy Scouts of America Circle 10 Council; Women Called Moses Coalition; Alpha Kappa Sorority, Inc.; National Bar Association; Dallas Bar Association; J.L. Turner Legal Association; Tarrant County Black Bar Association; College of the State Bar of Texas and Texas Municipal Bar Association.
